I love what I do and while I don’t need to get rich, I do need to make a living. My hourly research rate is $30, for military records research. I recommend an initial package, not to exceed 10 hours ($300), following which I will provide you with a report detailing what I was able to find, and what additional research might possibly find, but you’ll never pay more than $300 without deciding to proceed further. For family history research, contact me and we can discuss what you require.
Any archival materials, such as your relative’s military records with Library and Archives Canada, will be ordered at cost, and they are yours to keep when the project is complete. Any administrative costs, such as courier or long-distance phone charges, will also be charged at cost.
My Grandfather’s War is small, for now, so I accept payment by cheque or money order only at this time.
